Gogoi offers to resign, dares Advani to prove charges
New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) Asom Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today offered to resign from his post and politics if allegations that he had ''paid ULFA'' to buy peace for smooth conduct of the National Games at Guwahati were proved.
Talking to mediapersons, Mr Gogoi said either Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani substantiate his allegations or resign.
He said no major changes should be made in the northeastern state's Parliamentary as well as Assembly constituencies.
He said the Centre has agreed in principle to clear the Asom Gas Cracker project and the 100 Mega Watt Karbi power project.
