Films continue to be my first love: Govinda

Ajmer, Mar 2 (UNI) Bollywood actor-politician Govinda today paid obeisance at the Dargah of Khwaja Moinnudin Chisti here.

After a gap, Govinda has returned to the silver screen with the recently released Priyadarshan directed comedy 'Bhagam Bhag' and Nikhil Advani's 'Salam-e-Ishq'.

''Though I have entered the political arena, films continue to be my first love,'' he told newspersons. His new film 'Partner' is ready for release and will be in the theatres soon, he added.

Talking about the recent electoral reverses of his party in Punjab and Uttarakhand, the Congress MP said, ''God has given the other parties an opportunity to serve the people and they should rise to the expectations of the people.'' Govinda was accompanied by his wife Sunita and son Harshvardhan.
