Court issues non-bailable warrant against Jackie and his wife

Mumbai, Mar 2 (UNI) A local court today issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) for Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff and his wife Ayesha in a cheque bouncs case filed by In-Network private limited against them.

In-Network had filed a case against Jackie and his wife Ayesha in the year 2006, but both of them failed to appear in the court.

When the matter came up for hearing today both the respondents were not present, the 10th Metropolitan Magistrate, Andheri court issued the NBW for them which is returnable on May 15.

Talking to UNI, Mr Shroff said 'We are having a out of court settlement and it is unfortunate that the matter came up to this extent. He said he has already paid the major amount and only a negligible amount is left.'' However, he refused to divulge details of the transaction among the parties, saying that it is a sensitive matter.
