Cong MLA allege injustice to Telangana people

Hyderabad, Mar 2 (UNI) Senior Congress Leader and MLA P Janardhana Reddy today said it was unfortunate that there was no representation from the Telangana region in the recent appointments of Assistant Public Prosecutors (APPs).

He alleged that the government was not implementing the six-point formula, 610 GO and Gentlemen's agreement on the appointments for locals in the Telangana region.

The Chief Minister's assurance to stop the appointments of APPs till further orders and his statement of ignorance on the release of GO 938 would send a wrong signal to the public, he told newspersons here.

He said the Congress had come to power after ten years of struggle and the Chief Minister should take serious action and suspend the officials concerned who committed the mistakes.

It was the responsibility of the Chief Minister to protect the Congress and its government, he added.
