CBI arrests FCI Manager for accepting bribe
New Delhi, Mar 2 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation today arrested Area Manager of the Food Corporation of India, A Ravinder, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.
The FCI Manager, according to the CBI, had demanded an amount of Rs 3 lakh as bribe for processing and releasing the bills worth Rs 19 lakh.
The CBI, in another case, arrested a superintendent working in the office of Additional Commissioner I T Bulandshahar.
Girish Sharma had also allegedly accepted bribe of Rs 2,000.
