Minister hands over 24 ambulances

Puducherry, Mar 1 (UNI) Puducherry Health Minister E Valsaraj along with Speaker R Radhakrishnan today handed over 24 ambulances to the community and Primary Health Centres here.

At a function organised in front of the Gandhi statue on the Goubert avenue, Mr Valsaraj handed over the key of the ambulances purchased at a cost of Rs 95 lakh.

Of the 24 ambulances, 15 vehicles would be for Puducherry region and the rest for Karaikal.

Health secrtetary Mr Balakrishnan, Director Health service Dr Dilip Kumar Baliga, among others, who participated in the function.
