Madhuri's comeback film to release on november 30
Mumbai, Mar 1 (UNI) Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit's comeback film 'Aaja Nachle', directed by ace cinematographer Anil Mehta and produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), is slated for a November 30 release.
''Aaja Nachle'' will certainly end the year with a bang for Yash Raj Films. Madhuri's comeback could become truly, the comeback of the decade, a release from Yash Raj films said here yesterday. The film is being currently being shot in Mumbai's Film City.
The film co-stars Akshaye Khanna.
The first Yash Raj Films' release of 2007 ''Ta Ra Rum Rum'' comes up on April 27 and is directed by Siddharth Anand, who earlier directed ''Salaam Namaste'' for Yash Raj banner. The film stars Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji and boasts of an unsual storyline of a race car driver.
Shaad Ali's third directorial venture ''Jhoom Barabar Jhoom'' follows two months later. With a stellar cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol, Lara Dutta and Amitabh Bachchan in a special appearance, and the established credentials of the young director, ''Jhoom Barabar Jhoom'' looks set to repeat the nationwide success of ''Bunty Aur Babli''. June 15 is the day to ''Jhoom Barabar Jhoom''.
Yash Raj Film's third release of the year, ''Chak De India'' is slated to hit the screens on August 10. Directed by Shimit Amin, it stars Shah Rukh Khan and will no doubt give a whole new profile to sports theme films from India, a spokesperson added.
The festive season will be celebrated in style by Yash Raj Films with the release of Pradeep Sarkar's film ''Laaga Chunari Mein Daag'' being unveiled on October 12. The cast includes Jaya Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan, and promises to be one exceptional showcase for exemplary performances.
