Literary boards should try for 'Pan Literature' movement: Sadhu

Mumbai, Mar 1 (UNI) Veteran journalist and president of All India Marathi Literary Meet Arun Sadhu today said literary boards should make efforts to start 'Pan Indian Literature' movement.

Talking to reporters at a 'meet the press' programme, organised by Mantralaya Vidhimandal Vartahar Sangh, Mr Sadhu, who had a chequered career in English and Marathi journalism, said the move will bring the literature of other Indian languages more closer.

Mr Sadhu said Marathi does not enjoy the status as the language of knowledge but has become the common man's language whereas English has become a language of knowledge.
