House lauds Jindal for winning gold, wishes luck to Team India

New Delhi, Mar 1 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today congratulated MP Naveen Jindal for winning a gold medal in skeet shooting at an event in Jaipur and wished luck to Team India for the World Cup.

Mr Chatterjee congratulated the young MP on behalf of the House for winning a gold medal in the skeet shooting at the Fifth Sardar Sajjan Singh Sethi Memorial Masters Shooting Competition held in February at the Oasis Ranges in Jaipur.

He said Mr Jindal had earlier won a silver medal in the same discipline at the 33rd National Games held at Guwahati in January.

The Speaker said ''I am sure the House would join me in congratulating Mr Jindal on his commendable achievements.'' He also wished luck to the Indian cricket team for the World Cup.
