CPI(ML) to fight 45 seats in U P Assembly polls
Ranchi, Mar 1 (UNI) The CPI(ML) will fight assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh on its own in 45 seats.
Talking to UNI here, party's national general secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya before leaving for Kolkata last night said here that no party would get absolute majority in UP and predicted a hung-assembly there.
He said the party already made a list of party nominees for the polls.
The party would hold a rally in New Delhi on March 23 and build pressure on the government to nullify the land requisition law, 1894 besides demanding speedy implementation of 'Rojgar Guarantee Yojana' all over the country.
Critising the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar, Mr Bhattacharya said the Chief Minister's claim to purge Bihar of criminals in three months had not yielded any noticeable change even after a year.
Even the promise to appoint two lakh teachers was yet to be fulfilled, he said.
