Bhanu's supporter injured in gun fire

Ranchi, Mar 1 (UNI) Armed miscreants injured a supporter of Jharkhand Health Minister Bhanu Pratap Shahi yesterday when he along with others was going to participate in a celebration following the minister's victory from Bhawnathpur Assembly.

Police today said the miscreants opened fire on the Navjawan Sangharsh Morcha (NSM) supporters' vehicle after they failed to stop them near Sonehara village in Garwah district. The vehicle was also damaged.

The NSM activists of Navjawan Sangharsh Morcha (NSM) celebrate the day as 'Vijay Divas' since the minister returned to the Assembly in 2005.
