UP notifies resignations of seven ministers
Lucknow, Feb 28 (UNI) After much delay, the Uttar Pradesh government today notified the resignations of seven ministers, who had been disqualified by the Supreme Court along with six others on February 14.
These ministers -- one cabinet rank and six ministers of state-- had resigned on February 15. Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav had in turn handed over their resignations to Governor T V Rajeswar.

The official notification issued by Chief Secretary Naveen Chandra Bajpai, however, did not mention the date from which the resignations have been accepted.
The ministers are -- Rajpal Tyagi(cabinet rank), Dinesh Singh, Virendra Singh Bundela, Yogesh Pratap Singh, Rajendra Singh Rana, Shailendra Yadav and Jai Prakash Yadav (all ministers of state).
