R R Patil and Jayant Patil welcome budget

Mumbai, Feb 28 (UNI) Maharashtra deputy chief minister R R Patil and Finance minister Jayant Patil today welcomed the Union Budget for its emphasis on the Agro sector.

Patil said the provision to benefit 50 lakh farmers and commonmans' insurance scheme are the other highlights of the budget.

Mr Jayant Patil, who had tabled eight budgets in row for Maharashtra, said apart from agro sector, the budget also has good provisions for education and health sector.
