Man awarded life term for wife's murder

Howrah, Feb 28 (UNI) Howrah fast track court today awarded a life term imprisonment for killing his wife.

The accused, Sheikh Ismail Ali (35), had strangulated his wife to death on May eight, 2006.

During interrogation, Ali confessed that he had killed his wife as she was not good looking.

Fast track court Judge Sandip Kumar Roychoudhuri announcing the verdict Ali was booked under IPC section 302 and 201.
