Inflationary budget:Dr Kirit Somaiya

Mumbai, Feb 28 (UNI) Former MP and president of Investors grievances forum Dr Kirit Somaiya today said the budget was inflationary and unimaginative having hardly anything for Mumbai and also for the commonman.

A release issued here by Dr Somaiya said the Finance Minister made only hollow announcements of making Mumbai as financial service provider - a global city but has given nothing to the city which collects Rs 69,000 crore of taxes.

He condemned the government's helplessness to handle the high growth rate.
