Hindu Munnani opposes reservation for Muslims
Puducherry, Feb 28 (UNI) The Puducherry unit of the Hindu Munnani today campaigned at 20 different centres in the town to press the government not to grant any separate reservation to the Muslim community.
Led by Munnani leader Sanal Kumar, the organisation insisted that no reservation on the basis of religion must be permitted and the Puducherry administration should withdraw the Bill moved in the last budget session of the territorial assembly envisaging separate reservation for Muslims.
They also highlighted the public on the Anti-Religious Conversion Act.
