Five killed on the spot in jeep tempo mishap

Belgaum, Feb 27 (UNI) Five people were killed on the spot and 15 others injued when a jeep and a passenger tempo collided near Sanganakeri cross in Belgaum district this evening.

According to Police the jeep was on its way to Sanganakeri from Gokak and the passenger tempo was on its way to Gokak from Sanaganakeri when the mishap occurred.

All the injured have been shifted to Karnataka Health Institute at Ghataprabha in Gokak Taluk where the condition of two was stated to be serious, police added.
