Election results signifies anti-Cong wave: Swamy
Chennai, Feb 27: Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy today said the results of Assembly elections in Punjab, Uttarakhand and Manipur signified an anti-Congress wave in the country.
It was not only because of inflation, but also due to UPA's ''capitulation'' on terrorism, ''complicity'' in religious conversion by foreign missionaries and the ''unjust'' appeasement of minorities, he said in a statement here.
Mr Swamy claimed that the excellent performance of BJP in Punjab and Uttarakhand was an indication of the ''nascent undercurrent Hindu wave'' in the country.
