Artists have no boundry and religion: Gulgee
Mumbai, Feb 28 (UNI) An artist has no boundary or religion and he believes in peace and love, Gulgee, a famous artist from Karachi, said.
Gulgee was in the city to take part in a four-day 'Indo-Pak Art Exhibition', which was inaugurated by Police Commissioner A N Roy here last evening.
Six of his works are on display in the exhibition. The theme of his work revolves around love and harmony between the two nations.
Sixty-seven paintings of 21 artists, including three from Pakistan and 18 from India, are on display in the exhibition.
Meanwhile, S N Jha, a famous artist, produced a painting in front of all the participating artists and visitors Besides the two, other artists participating in the exhibition are -- Akbar Padamsee, Amiya Bhattacharya, Jamil Naqsh, Kishore Roy, Nikhil Bhardwaj, Nilanjan Das, Paresh Maity, Partha Bhattacharya, Prakash Karnakar, R M Naeem, Samit Das, Samit Dey, Sanatan Dinda, Satish Gupta, Seema Kohli, Shyamal Mukherjee, Sourav Bhattacharya, Suhas Roy, Sujata Dere and Vinay Sharma.
