Andhra MPs meet PM, alleges injustice in the Railway Budget

New Delhi, Feb 28 (UNI) An all-party delegation of Members of Parliament from Andhra Pradesh today met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh urging him to ''undo the injustice'' meted out to the state in the Railway Budget for 2007-08.

The delegation comprised of Mr D Vittal Rao (Cong), Mr Yerran Naidu (TDP), Mr Sudhakar Reddy (CPI), Mr T Madhu (CPM) and Ravindra Naik (TRS).

The Prime Minister agreed to consider their demands and assured to speak to Railways Minister Lalu Prasad for a possible redressal.

The MPs, after the presentation of the Union Budget 2007-08 today, had met at Andhra Bhawan here and decided that they should meet the Prime Minister and bring to his notice the ''injustice'' done to the state.
