UP on BJP's traget now: Minister
Bhopal, Feb 27 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Power Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya today said that 'U' of Uttarakhand and 'P' of Punjab together made 'UP' and election results in these two states had provided great strength to party's prospects in upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
In his reaction to the BJP's victory in Uttarakhand and Punjab, Mr Vijaywargiya said the BJP had started working towards its target and now it was the turn of Uttar Pradesh.
He said party president Rajnath Singh, party's Punjab incharge Arun Jaitely and party's Uttarakhand incharge Ravishankar Prasad deserved to be congratulated.
He pointed out that faulty policies of the Congress-led-UPA Government at the Centre had led to spiralling prices causing trouble for common man.
Mr Vijaywargiya said though the assembly election results depended upon issues in the state but the present mandate was a reaction of public annoyed with price rise.
He claimed that electorate in Uttar Pradesh wanted a change of guard and the results would be in the BJP's favour.
