Rains likely at several places in the country

Pune, Feb 27 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably below normal at isolated places in north Madhya Maharashtra, north Telangana, north interior Karnataka and below normal at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, south Madhya Maharashtra and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat State and were above normal in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will revail over the Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, south Rajasthan, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh State, Karnataka State, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or snow have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and many places in Himachal Pradesh.

Very light rain or snow have occurred at isolated places in Uttaranchal.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana and Chattisgarh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Punjab and at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Kerala. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Viudarbha, Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh State and Karnataka State.
