Public rejected Congress: Vasundhara
Bhopal, Feb 27 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia today said assembly election results in Punjab and Uttarakhand had proved that the electorate had rejected the Congress.
In a statement from Gwalior, Ms Raje said directionless policies of the Congress-led-UPA Government at the Centre had caused great inconvenience to public, which had been disillusioned with the Congress.
She said faulty economic policies of the Congress had led to increase in prices in the country. Besides, farmers were not able to get price for their produce She added that the poll outcome in the BJP's favour in Punjab and Uttarakhand proved that public had faith in its policies.
