Mizo ministerial staff demand promotion in selection grade

Aizawl, Feb 27 (UNI) Mizoram Ministerial Service Assistant Association has demanded promotion of non-gazetted administrative officers in selection grade catagory.

Association's statement pointed out that the ministrial officers should be promoted under quota system as soon as the upper level officer posts fall vacant.

It has also demanded Central pay scale of Rs 10,500 against the exisitng Rs 6,500 for the ministrial staff. They further want that the agreement signed between the state government and ICICI Lombard in the area of health care should be reviewed.
