Ranchi/Jamtara, Feb 26 (UNI) Former Union Coal Minister Sibu Soren could not be produced in a local court today for the fourth consecutive time on health grounds with doctors recommending him to RIMS for undergoing angio-cardiography.

The jailed leader, who complained of nausea since yesterday, was asked to appear in a Jamtara court in connection with the three-decade-old Chirrudih massacre in which 11 people were killed.

He also failed to appear on January 16, February 3 and February 9 before the court of First Class Additional District Judge Arun Kumar.

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader, undergoing life term in Delhi's Tihar jail for the murder of his personal assistant Shashinath Jha, was shifted to Dumka last year as his pleaders argued that he had to frequently appear in various local courts in Jharkhand in connection with some other cases pending here.

Soren, suffering from various ailments, had been advised to undergo angio-cardiography at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi, doctors attending him said.

Civil surgeon of Dumka district Dr T Hembrom told UNI that a medical team, monitoring Soren's health, had already apprised the jail authorities that a report was required for further investigation into his medical status.
