Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists arrested

Hubli, Feb 26 (UNI) About 40 activists of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike were arrested when they indulged in blackening English name boards in shops here today, urging to put up boards in Kannada.

Agitated that their February 15 deadline to put up Kannada boards had not met with success, the activists took to streets and started painting English boards with tar.
