Honey bees spell terror in Hubli

Hubli, Feb 26 (UNI) Honey bees virtually clamped curfew in a street here this afternoon, throwing normal life out of gear for over an hour.

Honey bees, which suddenly took off from a building in Koppikar road, swarmed the street. The frightened people ran for cover, throwing their vehicles on the road. Almost all shops downed shutters, fearing attack.

Normalcy returned to the street after the honey bees settled in their honeycombs.
