Haryana, S Korea to cooperate in bio, nano, info sectors

Chandigarh, Feb 26 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today met South Korea Director, Trade and Foreign Affairs, Kim Kwang Jung and explored possibilities of mutual cooperation in the fields of bio, nano and information technologies.

Mr Kim Kwang, who is accompanying an eight-member expert delegation, apprised the Chief Minister that Korean Government was willing to invest in Haryana.

He said there were several areas wherein joint partnership could take place.

India, he said, was fast emerging as hub of IT professionals and Haryana was being considered as the third largest software exporter.

Due to its geographical location, it was much better choice than any other state of India.

The Chief Minister said there were a lot of multinational companies functioning in Haryana and more and more companies were willing to set up their units only because of good governance, infrastructure, power, expressways, industry-friendly environment and new industrial policy.
