Drunken govt officer held

Chitrakoot, Feb 26 (UNI) An inebriated Entertainment Tax officer was arrested for allegedly ''manhandling'' audience at a cinema hall in this district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police today said the incident occurred near Chitrakoot district headquarters last night, when Shri Krishna entered a cinema hall and scuffled with the audience and hall workers.

Later, Mr Krishna was also assaulted by the audience.

Meanwhile, the accused has been held and his blood sample has been sent to Agra for examination, police added.
