'Ashtadhatu' idols stolen

Pratapgarh, Feb 26 (UNI) Unidentified burglars decamped with ancient 'ashtadhatu' idols of Lord Ram, Sita and Laksman here late last night, police today said.

The incident took place in Kilhanapur village under Hathgavan police station area, where the idols worth several lakhs of rupees were found missing.

An FIR had been lodged and a manhunt was on to nab the accused.
