One killed in city hotel shoot-out
Guwahati, Feb 25 (UNI) One person was killed in a shoot-out at a restaurant of a posh city hotel this evening.
Police said three persons, aged around 35, had come to the restaurant of Ambarish Hotel at Ganeshguri area in the city here this evening and ordered two cups of tea and a glass of mango juice.
After the waiter served the tea and went to bring the mango juice, gunshots were heard inside the restaurant and one of the three youths fell down with bullet injury in his neck while the two other fled.
The assailants then forced an autorickshaw driver at gun point to give them a lift towards Paltan Bazar side.
Police launched a manhunt to nab the culprits. The youths were suspected to be from Manipur.
