Kalam makes transit halt at airport before leaving for Belgaum

Panaji, Feb 25 (UNI) President Dr A P J Abdul Kalam today made a transit halt at the Naval enclave in Goa's Dabolim airport before leaving for Belgaum in neighbouring Karnataka.

Earlier, the President arrived here from Coimbatore by a special aircraft Rajhans.

Secretary Protocol Diwan Chand and Inspector General of Police (IGP) N S Randhawa, besides naval Commodore P K Panda received Mr Kalam.

He went to Karnataka to attend an official meetings at Belgaum, Gulbarga and Bidar.
