JKSRTC announces 20% discount for stranded passengers

Jammu, Feb 25 (UNI ) Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) today announced 20 per cent discount on net fare, giving relief to stranded passengers on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, official sources said.

Minister of State for Transport Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen had issued instructions to JJSRTC Managing Director Sanjeev Verma, who announced the discount, sources said.

JKSRTC has transported 5,000 stranded passengers to the valley till now.
