Green signal for criticality of Unit 3 of Kaiga Nuclear Power Plant

Kaiga, Karnataka, Feb 25 (UNI) Stage was all set for criticiality of Unit three of Kaiga Atomic Power Plant tomorrow.

Official sources said today that the authorisation to go in for commissioning the Unit three with 220 Mw was received this evening from Atomic Energy Regulatory Board.

The Unit three was completed with a record period of four year 11 month.

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) Chairman Anil Kakodkar would inaugurate the Unit.
