26 held for clash in temple festival

Puducherry, Feb 25 (UNI) Thavalakuppam police today registered cases against 26 persons allegedly involved in a clash at a temple festival here last night.

According to police, the groups led by Vadivel and Kamaraj, clashed during the festival at the Angalamman Temple at Poornamkuppam near here.

Police intervened and pacified them and registered cases against 13 persons from each side.
