RJD to finalise nominees for boards chairman with Lalu

Ranchi, Feb 24 (UNI) The RJD, extending its outside support to the Madhu Koda-led UPA government in Jharkhand, today said it will soon prepare a list of party nominees for the posts of chairman in boards and corporations.

Party's national general secretary and in-charge of Jharkhand Ramai Ram said a meeting of MLAs would be called during the budget session of the Assembly beginning next month to discuss the matter.

Mr Ram said the list would then be submitted before the party's national president Lalu Prasad for his consent.

Replying to a query, Mr Ram said there was no threat to the Koda government and it would complete its tenure.

The RJD leader said removal of the Koda government would lead to mid-term polls and no MLA was in favour of it.
