New weekly train between Ahmedabad-Patna

Ahmedabad, Feb 24 (UNI) The Western Railway (WR) has introduced a new weekly express train between Ahmedabad and Patna with effect from February 28.

The train No 2947 Azimabad Express will commence its first journey from Ahmedabad on February 28 at 2125 hrs on every Wednesday and reach Patna at 0435 hrs on Friday. The train would leave from here every Wednesday.

Similarly, its pair train will depart from Patna at 2300 hrs on every Friday and arrive at Ahmedabad at 0550 hrs on Sunday, a WR release said.

The train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bayana, Agra Fort, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Allahabad, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations in both directions.

The train will have AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and Second class general accommodation. The booking of Ahmedabad-Patna Azimabad Express will open from February 26, the release added.
