NDA to give priority to raising Quattrocchi issue in Parliament

New Delhi, Feb 24 (UNI) The NDA will decide on Monday the manner in which it will raise in Parliament the issue of Bofors accused Ottavio Quattrocchi's detention in Argentina.

A decision to this effect was taken at the meeting of the core committee of the BJP parliamentary party at the residence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani told newspersons that Quattrocchi's detention would get priority among other issues that the NDA planned to raise in Parliament.

He alleged that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi had ''suppressed'' information about the incident in view of the assembly polls in three states and owed the country an explanation.
