J'khand CM in Limca Book of Records
Ranchi, Feb 24 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today entered the Limca Book of Records for holding the Chief Minister's post for about five months as an independent candidate.
Mr Koda was awarded the certificate by representatives of the Limca Book of Records at the CM-house here, official sources said.
The Chief Minister said earlier he had set a record by including the Jagnnathpur assembly seat in the BJP's fold for the first time in 2002.
Mr Koda, as an independent candidate, defeated a national party candidate whose security was forfeited in the 2005 Assembly polls from Jagannathpur seat.
He is the first 'Ho' tribal to become a Chief Minister.
