Body of a fishermen recovered from Arabian sea

Jamnagar, Feb 24 (UNI) The Coast Guard, engaged in the search operation of seven missing fishermen, recovered the body of one of them 16 nautical miles off Jakhho last night.

Police said that the body of Osman Latif Jadeja (45), recovered from the sea, had been taken to his native village Okha.

Seven fishermen, who left from Dwarka Bet in the Arabian Sea on February 15 for fishing, were reported missing after their boat capsized in the sea. The Boat owner informed the police and coastal guard on February 20 after he received the information of the tragic incident from other fishermen.

The Coast guard is still continuing their mission for searching the other six missing fishermen, police said.
