Sesa Goa secures 9.5% price hike from Japan
New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) Country's top private iron ore producer Sesa Goa Ltd has secured a price increase of 9.5 per cent for all its products from Japanese customers for the year 2007-08 over 2006-07 prices.
The decision has been taken after the acceptance of Japanese steel mills to increase the price of Australian iron ore for the year 2007-08, a company statement said today.
Arcelor Mittal, the world's largest steel maker, is in the fray to acquire Sesa Goa for about one billion dollar.
