SAP India bags the top slot in enterprise applications

Chandigarh, Feb 23 (UNI) SAP India, the leading provider of business software solutions, has bagged the top slot in the enterprise applications category according to the annual Customer Satisfaction Audit (CSA) 2007 results published in Dataquest magazine.

In the enterprise applications category covering Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM), the survey results showed that Indian CIOs chose SAP ahead of Oracle, Microsoft Business Solutions and RAMCO as the top enterprise applications provider.

The survey results revealed that Indian CIOs rate SAP at the top slot on such key parameters as product reliability, responsiveness to specific client requirements and domain knowledge of customers business and post sales support, an official statement said.

The annual Dataquest Customer Satisfaction Audit survey is conducted by IDC India and polls the opinions of CIOs of enterprises featuring in popular business lists such as the ET 500 and BS 1000.

The Dataquest Customer Satisfaction Audit 2007 covered large enterprises in manufacturing, government, banking, financial services and insurance, IT/ITeS and education sector in ten cities across India.

The survey covered the product/market categories of desktops, laptops, servers, enterprise applications, integrated and outsourced IT services and networking products.
