Srinagar, Feb, 23 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today said the police and other law and order enforcing agencies officials will have to redouble their efforts to provide all possible help to needy.

Mr Azad, during his visit to Police Control Room and Police Hospital here, inspected the latest gadgets installed there.

He hoped that with the help of these modern facilities needy people will get immediate assistance.

State Director General of Police Gopal Sharma briefed the Chief Minister about the latest and the existing facilities in the PCR.

Mr Sharma informed him that the police control room Srinagar is now one the most modern PCRs of the country equipped and with the latest hi-tech facilities.

Mr Azad also visited the Police hospital in the PCR complex and interacted with the family members of the policemen and the police official injured in grenade attacks.

He also visited the modern operation theatre and physio therapy centre established in the hospital.
