Mizo student body demands youth commission

Aizawl, Feb 23 (UNI) The Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP), a student organisation, today demanded to set up youth commission in the state for betterment of the educated youths.

In a meeting with Chief Minsiter Zoramthanga here today MZP said, ''Youth commission is badly needed in order to have educated Mizo youths getting jobs in other parts of the country and abroad''.

They also underlined the need for an English Language Institution run by the state government, as a large number of English teachers are required in non-english speaking school of the state.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister assured them the government would take step to consider the demand of setting up youth commission in the state and it would be tabled in cabinet meeting soon, the MZP officials said.
