Let legal process prevail in Quattrocchi case: Congress

New Delhi, Feb 23 (UNI) The Congress today said the detention of Bofors accused Ottavio Quattrocchi in Argentina was ''part of a legal process which should be allowed to work out''.

''It is a legal process which should be allowed to work out,'' Congress spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi told newspersons here soon after reports of Quattrocchi's detention came in.

''It is for the prosecuting agency, investigating agency and the Indian government to decide what is to be done in the case,'' the spokesman added.

The Interpol, Buenos Aires had informed the CBI that the Italian national was detained on February 6 in the Argentinian province of Misiones on way to Buenos Aires and taken into preventive custody.
