Jai Balaji Group commissions new 1,80,000 MT plant in Bengal

Kolkata, Feb 23(UNI) Sri Ramrupai Balaji Steels Limited, group company of the Kolkata-based Jai Balaji group, today commissioned a rolling mill of 1,80,000 MT capacity at its plant at Durgapur in West Bengal.

Revealing this Group Chairman&Managing Director Aditya Jajodia today said, ''Sri Ramrupai Balaji Steels Limited manufactures the group's prestigious brand, Balaji Shakti Thermex TMT BARS, which serve as a perfect example of high-grade strength and ductility that aid in infrastructure support.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Jajodia said with the increase in the global steel consumption, the future of Indian steel making fraternity was full of prospects.

Keeping this in mind, the Sri Ramrupai Balaji Steels Limited board of directors had agreed for further expansion of existing steel making facility.

''This rolling mill would go a long was in enhancing the company's capacity of manufacturing steels bars and rods, he added.
