HC cancels Khadi Gramodyog Board recruitment process

Lucknow, Feb 23 (UNI) In a significant ruling, the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court today cancelled the 2005 recruitment process of Khadi Gramodyog Board to fill class III and IV vacancies.

A Single Judge Bench of Justice Devi Prasad Singh also directed the Board to initiate the recruitment process afresh.

Besides, the Board was fined Rs 50,000 and ordered to take disciplinary action against the guilty persons.

The court passed the order on a petition filed by Suraj Singh and another person.

The petitioners had alleged gross irregularities and corruption in the aforementioned recruitment process.
