Battle for UP: Sena to ally with BJP
Indore, Feb 23 (UNI) Shiv Sena (SS) Working President Uddhav Thackeray today said the party intended to forge an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
''The SS wishes to tie up with Hindu forces to prevent polarisation of Hindu votes. The details will be sorted out later.
The Congress has adopted two-faced policies and that is why disputes crop up between Hindus and Muslims,'' he alleged.
Pointing out that an amount of Rs 5 lakh each was granted as ex gratia to the Mumbai terror-affected families, Mr Thackeray added that the figure was Rs 10 lakh each in the Samjhauta Express case.
