12 victims of Samjhauta Express identified in Nadiad
Ahmedabad, Feb 23 (UNI) Twelve Pakistani victims of the Samjhauta Express blasts in Panipat were identified by their relatives today.
Nadiad Municipality chief Maheshbhai Patel told UNI that among the victims, Mohammed Naseem (60) and Marium Yusuf Mohemmed (55) were identified through their passports, Mehruna Mohemmed Yusuf (40), Ferhan Mohemmed (19) and Aman Mohemmed Yakub (14) were identified by their belongings, while Anwar Malik (35) was identified by his teeth.
In a ghastly terror attack, 67 people, mostly Pakistani nationals, were burnt to death and nearly 15 injured, 12 of them seriously, when two powerful explosions ripped through two coaches of the Lahore-bound Samjhauta Express on February 19.
