Rakhi Sawant debarred from donating computers to inmates of jail

Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) Item girl Rakhi Sawant has been debarred from donating computers to the inmates of Arthur Road Jail in South Central Mumbai.

Speaking to UNI, Rakesh Sawant, Rakhi's brother, said ''As Rakhi had won money from the ''Big Boss'' show, she wanted to do some charity and help people. She had purchased total 100 computers to donate to illiterate people. Out of which, she had taken 50 computers to donate to the inmates.'' ''She had taken permission from the in-charge of the Arthur Road jail. When Rakhi reached there, she saw that the press was present in full strength. I do not know why the authorities refused after giving the approval. Rakhi plans to donate other 50 computers to be donated to the children of Municipal schools'', he added.
